Poultry, Meat and Fish

Kalimba Reptile Park specialises in free-range Pekin Duck, beef, pork, game meat (seasonal) and the indigenous species of Tilapia (Bream). The ducks are free range from incubation to final product and fish farming is critical for the conservation of Tilapia (Bream) which is under threat in Zambia. Kalimba supplies its high-quality Pekin Duck, beef and fish to restaurants and hotels. Kalimba is also a commercial supplier of parent stock Tilapia.

Crocodile Farming

Kalimba Farm began in 1985, and was the first farm in the world to integrate crocodile farming with aquaculture. Today they incubate, hatch and raise crocodiles on site and produce high end crocodile skin, meat and oil for local and export markets. Kalimba works closely with the Zambia Crocodile Farmers Association.

Tourist attraction

At Kalimba Reptile Park you'll experience giant Nile crocodiles, as well as indigenous snakes, tortoises and other reptiles. It's also one of the few places left in the world where you can see the rare and shy African slender-snouted crocodile. There are also plenty of other activities to fill your time, or to entertain the kids if you'd rather relax by the pool.

Casual dining restaurant

Enjoy a wide variety of meals and beverages at Kalimba Farm’s on-site restaurant. Their food menu items include but are not limited to grilled chicken pieces, t-bone steak, pork chops, crocodile kebabs, sausages, grilled, fish, and burgers. Sides are chips, rice and nshima (Zambia’s) staple food. For your dessert, their restaurant offers a selection of ice cream. Beverages include soft drinks, beers, wines, spirits, and ciders as well as tea and coffee. Vegetarian options are also available.
